CHANGES TO Australian Gliding
The decision was made at the 1997 annual council meeting in Sydney, for AG
to be published bi-monthly, in A4 format. This took effect starting from
volume 47, no. 1 - which was the January/February 1998 issue.
A further decision was made that commencing with March 1999,
a joint magazine would be published with the Hang-gliding Federation,
pending a vote by the membership on possible amalgamation
of the two bodies.
The Editor of AG for the previous six years, Noel Matthews declined the position of
sub-editor (gliding) with this joint publication.
